Tyler is a regional convention center, and the location of numerous festivals such as the Azalea Trail & Festival in the spring and the Rose Festival and Parade in the fall.
It also hosts events such as car shows, the annual Firefighters Challenge, home & garden shows, the East Texas State Fair, the Four Winds Renaissance Faire, Cattle Barons Gala, TABA Parade of Homes, and others.
In addtion, there are several art shows and sidewalk festivals in the downtown area through the year, including the popular Festival on the Square.
Tyler, heart of East Texas in the Lone Star State, is the county seat of Smith County. Located mid-way between Dallas and Shreveport, Tyler has a wide range of appeal and serves as the business and recreation center of a large geographical area.
Tyler is also close to Canton, Texas and the famous First Monday Trade Days which attracts tens of thousands visitors each month.
